Ghidrah

Known by many spellings, Ghidrah or Ghidorah or Ghidoragh formed in 1996. Very fast and loud, their style was described as either punk rock or 'power violence', sometimes playing songs in extremely odd time signatures. The band supported both Fugazi and The Melvins at the Powerstation during 1997.

Ghidrah reformed in 2012 as "Ghidoragh' after all the members had relocated to Wellington. They released a new EP 'Threat Level Ultra' in 2013 via Bandcamp as a limited edition floppy disk box set.
