Love and Violence
Love and Violence initially featured brothers Andrew Newth and Scott Newth, and later added Scott Brodie (of Spatula Death, and later Inchworm) on guitar. They released one tape, The Nth Times, on Airwigg in 1992, including the song Sin which received much airplay on Contact 89FM at that time. It was rereleased on CD a year later with two bonus tracks, being cheaper if you held a coupon provided with the original tape.
Another song, Violator, appeared on the Discordia Concors CD, and Time is now appears on the They came to take us alive compilation. Two early songs also appeared on the compilation Just Teasing V1.
Scott and Andrew Newth went on to form Fallen. The name change was due to the new direction which the music was taking at the time.
