Aaron Watkinson

Aaron Watkinson was an announcer on UFM in 1998 and 1999, after previously working at Contact 89FM. He has continued with radio work, most notably writing and recording radio promos for Radio Live and The Rock. In 2005 he won the award for "Best Promotional Or Image Trailer for a Radio Station" for "100 Songs Jesus Could Rock Out To" at the 27th Annual New Zealand Radio Awards. In 2006 he got a special commendation for a Radio Live promo in the same category. He has also been a bass player for several Hamilton bands, including MSU, for which he went by the name Leroy Brown.
