This Chris Thompson should not be confused with Chris Thompson, the vocalist from Manfred Mann's Earth Band, who also spent time in Hamilton, including attending Hamilton Boys High School. Chris is a Folksinger and Songwriter,the composer of 265 published songs and instrumentals.He is the father of Lora Thompson of the Hamilton band 'Empress' (ex-Cheshire Grimmm ) and is currently ( Autumn 2022) playing at The French Tart Cafe in Fairfield and Kahurangi Cafe at Waikato University.
