Anna Coddington

Anna Coddington was the singer and guitarist from Handsome Geoffrey and Duchess. Coddington grew up in Raglan, but attended Hamilton Girls High School. She has sung for Fly my Pretties, The Relaxomatic Project, and has also done backing vocals for Bic Runga (on her Birds album), Anika Moa (Stolen Hill album) and Dimmer (There, My Dear album). Her first solo album, The Lake, was released on 5 June 2008, followed by a second, Cat and Bird, in 2011, and most recently Luck/Time in 2016. She was infamously hit in the face by a beer jug during the Battle of the Bands in 1999.
