Freak the Sheep
A 1991 Flying Nun Release (FN189) Freak the Sheep was named after BFM's New Zealand Music Show, hosted (and the release compiled) by Lisa Van der Aarde. The record was a selection of artists who made an impression on Auckland listeners, and included only one non-Auckland band; Hamilton's Watershed. In comments on the Freak the Sheep tracks published by the New Zealand Herald in August 1991, van der Aarde stated of Hamilton band Watershed: "I liked them straight away - and they're from Hamilton! I know that shouldn't matter but I've seen bands from Hamilton and they've been terrible and dated. But Watershed? Twin guitars, harmonies, good lead singer. They're great."
