Stockists and distributors of mind-bending psychedelic music of all eras. Cranium began as a mail-order operation run by one Richard Cranium, with a small display in Nonesuch Books which occupied three different locations on the eastern side of Victoria Street in the mid to late nineties. During this time Cranium music ran a specialist late night show on ContactFM.
With the closure of Nonesuch Cranium Music opened its own store on State Highway 1 near Ngaruawahia. The current status of Cranium is uncertain, as the store is never open and falling into disrepair and the Cranium website has been shut down.
Many of Cranium's releases can be found in the Hamilton Public Library.
