Duchess formed in Auckland in late 2004, and comprises ex-Handsome Geoffrey members Anna Coddington (guitar), Janna Hawkins (bass) and Aidee Walker (keyboards), with the addition of drummer Jonny Corker (ex-Rubicon); Walker moved from drums to keyboards with his addition. The band feature a heavier, noiser sound than they had in Handsome Geoffrey. To date they have released one self-titled EP.
