Echoes were a rock/funk group formed in 1982. The band released one single, Places, in 1984, which they played on music program Shazam that year. They appeared on the program again in November 1985 playing What's Your Problem Tonight.
Rimington went on to star in the 1986 production of the Rocky Horror Show with Sir Rob Muldoon and Russell Crowe. Downey played for The Politicians from 1984-1990, and for The Mods at their 1994 30th anniversary concert. Fergusson and McCreesh played together in a band called Split Image following the breakup of Echoes.
